Request for Proposals for the Development and Operation of an EPZ/IP in Bingiriya, Sri Lanka
The Board of Investment of Sri Lanka, which is empowered to attract investments to develop and manage Export Processing Zones (EPZ) and Industrial Parks (IP) in Sri Lanka, is calling for proposals for the development and operation of an EPZ/IP in a 164 acres land in Bingiriya area in the North-Western Province in Sri Lanka. The proposed land is located 80 kms away from Colombo, the Commercial Capital of the country and has convenient access through Grade A and B roads.
The prospective investor/developer is expected to plan, invest, develop and operate the Zone while providing and managing the internal infrastructure required for the smooth operation of the Zone. The main infrastructure needs for the Zone, including the access roads to the land will be provided by the Government of Sri Lanka.
