Investing in Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services: ‘’Caring Nature – Creating Wealth’’

The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka in collaboration with the BIOFIN Programme of the UNDP, is organizing the 4^th International Research Symposium – Investing in Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (ISIBES 2018) under the theme of ‘’Caring Nature – Creating Wealth’’. The symposium is scheduled to be held on 17^th to 18^th October 2018.

This Symposium aims at providing a platform and conducive environment for undergraduates, postgraduate students, academics, researchers and all other interested parties both in Sri Lanka and overseas to discuss and deliberate their innovative findings, publish their research work via symposium proceedings and disseminate the knowledge to wider public, policy makers, industry and to a well-read audience. Further, this symposium will certainly be helpful to create a network among the participants facilitating horizontal exchange of knowledge and experiences gained in a broader framework of biodiversity and ecosystem services.

The foreign participants interested to participate at this event, can present their papers online. Abstracts will be accepted until 05^th August 2018.
